ABOUT NAHJ DEPAUL
#MoreLatinosInNews
DePaul University's National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) is a student-led chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists organization. Our mission is to advocate for more diverse newsrooms and Latino journalists.

It is led by a five-member board consisting of journalism and other media-related students from DePaul University representing various regions of Latin America. It is advised by DePaul professor Vincent Peña and Chicago Tribune journalist and professor Laura Rodriguez Presa.
NAHJ DePaul hosts conversations with journalists so that they can share their experiences with students interested in pursuing a similar journalism and media-related career. Along with thoughtful conversations, NAHJ DePaul organizes workshops to help students improve their resume, cover letter, and networking skills.
With these events, NAHJ DePaul hopes to prepare Latino journalists and media communication students to pursue careers in journalism and other media-related fields.
